Through the years countless opportunities became available as the family set the standard for the community. Working together, following dreams, believing in themselves and each other allowed the oldest and the youngest of the Church clan to band together through a love of Hip Hop.
Growing up in one of the foremost meccas of the music and show business industries Los Angeles and Hollywood afforded avenues not available to many other artists of their day. The Church brothers watched as the Hip Hop music industry developed and changed on the West coast. Learning from many big names in the industry Stranger and Wolfish developed their own unique sound and style, as well as solidifying their own professional code of ethics which mirrored closely the ones founded for them early in their family life.
Determined to stay independent while other artists happily signed 360 contracts, the Church brothers and their independent supporters watched their peers rise and then often burn out to eventually become obsolete within the industry. Remaining independent artists not signed to and receiving the support of a label has rarely been an easy decision for both Stranger and Wolfish but has been, and will remain to be the correct decision for them both.
Contributing friends all across the world have listened to and supported this cause for many years allowing this special brand of feel music to permeate the hearts and souls of many. Through these heartfelt nominal gifts, and mentoring support from industry professionals the dream has been kept alive. In order for them to continue to be successful in their independent feel music journey, ongoing support through contributions is greatly needed. These contributions allow for focus on projects like this last film where Wolfish spent several months compiling and archiving for the world a very important and intimate travel through some of the Church brothers journey through Hip Hop over the past 20 years.
