2003年結成。新宿、渋谷を拠点にライヴ活動を開始すると同時に2曲入りのデモCDを発売する。
翌2004年に下北沢ハイラインレコーズ限定で2曲入りのデモテープを発売。1曲入りの『ヒコーキ雲』を無料配布。
ライヴの前売りチケット購入時に1曲入り『Nothing』を引き換えとバンド結成時からライヴだけでなく自主制作音源も精力的にリリースしてきた。
全国で開催されている地元で頑張る若者たちが呼び起こすムーブメントに焦点を当てたライヴイベント「Nakiez LIVE!!」「Nakiez PowerLIVE!」に出演。
またSTREET ROCK FILEの特別付録CDに「限りなく前向きな詩」が収録されるなど、徐々に注目を集めはじめる。
Depressed Deep Tokyo was formed in June 2003. After performing several gigs thru year 2004, their first demo [35 seconds] was released exclusively at Highline-records in May 2004. Without big promotion, it reaches Top5 in the Ranking. In June, a single CD [Hikouki-kumo] was released. The CD reached Top1 in the Ranking, and stayed within TOP5 for a couple of months. In the mean time, the band represented Shibuya DESEO at the "Nakiez Power LIVE" and qualified the first stage of the contest. On Nov.20, the first mini-album "The theory of relativity" was out, and their first own produced event called "Self-Developer" was successfully carried out. They also appears in a national magazine called "STREET ROCK FILE", and "An extraordinary positive song" from mini-album is included in the supplemental omnibus CD. In the year 2006, "Dawn" is released as a part of omnibus CD "Buddysta!", produced and distributed by Buddy records.
